Terms of Service

Thank you for visiting the website of Beckman Weil Shepardson LLC (herein “BWS” but sometimes “Beckman Weil Shepardson”, “the law firm”, “we”, “us”). We created this website so that you can learn more about the legal services that we offer. It is intended for informational purposes only. None of the information contained in this website is intended to constitute, nor does it constitute, either legal advice or a solicitation of any particular prospective client.

Our website is not intended to and does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and BWS or any of its lawyers. An attorney-client relationship cannot be formed with us by reading the information on this website. The only way to become our client is by specific and explicit agreement with an individual attorney at BWS. By providing information about our firm on this website, we are not soliciting clients nor are we proposing any type of transaction. You should not act or rely on any information contained on this website without seeking the advice of an attorney. The determination of the need for legal services and the choice of a lawyer are extremely important decisions and should not be based solely upon advertisements or self-proclaimed experience.

Any information that you send us in an e-mail message may not be confidential or privileged, and you should not send us any confidential information via email unless and until BWS has agreed to represent you. Sending us an e-mail message will not make you a client of BWS. If you are interested in having us represent you, call us at (513) 621-2100 or send us a message via this website; we will determine whether the matter is one for which we are willing or able to represent you. We reserve the right to decline any representation. We may be required to decline representation if it would create a conflict of interest with our other clients. You should therefore not provide us with any confidential information – whether by letter, e-mail, or telephone – until after we have had an opportunity to determine whether representing you would create a conflict of interest with any of our other clients.

Upon becoming a client of BWS, you may be contacted by several methods during the course of our representation. These include e-mails, telephone calls, and SMS text messages. In the case of SMS messages, we generally only use SMS messages with clients who prefer that method of communication and such messages may include reminders of appointments or court dates, questions regarding your representation, or updates on your case. The frequency of such messages will vary and standard message and data rates may apply. If you do not wish to receive text messages from us, simply respond with “STOP TEXT MESSAGES”. Neither BWS nor your cellular or data carrier are responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
