After decades of contributing to society and our lives, it is so important for us to take care of those who can no longer care for themselves. Many nursing home care providers do not intentionally mistreat their residents. In some instances, the neglect can come from circumstances that can just make treatment overwhelming for the nursing home facility. The work environment in nursing homes can be demanding and nursing home staffs sometimes lack supervision and proper support. Other impacting variables include the employees’ training and backgrounds that can go unchecked. Whatever the case, it is never acceptable for senior citizens to be neglected, abused, or treated with anything but the utmost care and professionalism.
