Ms. Leyshock represents clients in a variety of business and personal matters including employment law, family law, landlord-tenant law, probate and estate disputes, and contract and general business litigation.   

Ms. Leyshock's employment practice focuses on representing employers and employees in litigation and pre-litigation matters related to the Family and Medical Leave Act  (“FMLA”), the Americans With Disabilities Act (“ADA”), the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as well as other Federal and state laws addressing age, gender, race, national origin, and disability discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, and other workplace issues.  Ms. Leyshock advises clients, including individual employees and human resources personnel, with a variety of other employment-related matters such as severance agreements and covenants not to compete.  Ms. Leyshock has significant experience defending employers against charges of discrimination filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (“OCRC”) , and has drafted charges of discrimination and represented employees through the processing and investigation stages of the EEOC and OCRC processes.   

A significant portion of Ms. Leyshock’s practice is devoted to the area of Family Law,  Ms. Leyshock represents clients going through divorce and dissolution, prepares prenuptial agreements, and provides counsel in post-decree matters, including matters related to child custody, visitation, and support proceedings.  She is trained in Collaborative Law and a member of the Cincinnati Association of Collaborative Professionals and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.  For more information about Collaborative Law, please visit www.collaborativelaw.com.

Ms. Leyshock lives in the East Row Historic District of Newport, Kentucky and is active in her community, including serving on the board of the Welcome House of Northern Kentucky in Covington, Kentucky.
